Don Angelone and his wife, Gerry, have been lifelong members of St. Patrick Church. They were married in St. Patrick Church 53 years ago this December. Don and Gerry are the parents of four children, three who reside in the Pittsburgh Diocese and one in the Greensburg Diocese. They have seven grandchildren and all family members still reside in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Don’s educational background is in rehabilitation counseling. He graduated from California State College and earned his masters from the University of Pittsburgh. Don is a retired member of the AAA and Washington. County Planning Commission, Retired Licensed Psychologist, Retired Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, Retired Certified Rehab, Counselor, CRC. He served on the Washington County Transportation Authority Board of Directors for 17 years.
After he retired from his position as District Administrator of the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, he was on the faculty of University of Pittsburgh full time as a senior lecturer for 8 years teaching Masters Level Rehabilitation Counseling students.He is a past member of the St. Patrick Parish Council.
Dyan Rowe Davis has been a member of our parish family since 2014. Some may know her as “Mrs. D” from when she taught First Grade CCD in the 2018-2019 school year. Professionally, she is the President of a Regulatory Consulting firm where she uses her degrees in Pharmacy and Law. She has a strong belief in the benefit of Catholic education, have been in Catholic schools from first grade through her advanced degrees. She resides in Canonsburg with her husband of 24 years, Tim, and their St. Bernard, Duncan.
Cherryl Fitch is a recent empty-nester with her husband, Pat, of almost 33 years. Her son, Chandler, has been in the DC area working for a government contractor, presently BAE. That's all she's allowed to know. LOL. Her daughter, Nicole, is leaving shortly for Brussels, Belgium for six months. This is her second rotation in the Financial Analysis Leadership Program for Owens Corning. Cherryl is the Educational Director and an active real estate agent for more than 15 years at Keller Williams Realty. She has been an active member of the St. Oscar Romero Parish, having served in various capacities.
Pete Fuselier currently lives in Cecil Township with his wife, Cindi. He is a retired software engineer who worked for Aetna, Coventry, and other healthcare-related IT organizations. He has a Master’s Degree in Multimedia Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, both from Duquesne University. He has been an active member of all of parishes to which he has belonged, which include St. Valentine, St. Louise De Marillac, St. Mary in Cecil, and Holy Rosary. At the former Holy Rosary Parish, Pete served on the Pastoral Council, served as a Eucharistic Minister and lector, and taught CCD. He is now active in those ministries in the new combined parish. In addition, he helps to livestream Saturday masses at Holy Rosary Church. Pete has lived in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh his entire life.
Rachel and Ben Kittka joined the Oscar Romero community one year ago when they moved to Cecil. Ben and Rachel are looking forward to being involved with the Parish in a variety of ways and hope to encourage other young families to do the same. They enjoy spending time with their son, Jude, and their dog, doing anything outdoors or with their families.
Rosemary Mastrangelo has been a member of St. Patrick/St. Oscar Romero Parish for seven years. She grew up in the Brookline section of Pittsburgh and was a member of the Church of the Resurrection before marrying and moving to Eastern PA, where she and her husband, Jeff, lived for 25 years and raised a son and two daughters. When they returned home, they decided to settle in Canonsburg, her husband's hometown. "I have a great love of my Catholic faith, and as a member of the Council, I will strive to help St. Oscar Romero further grow into a vibrant, faith-filled community with Jesus at its center and the love of the Eucharist at its core. Together we can work to make this happen!"
Scott Moore is a retired Firefighter/Paramedic/Law Enforcement. He is the chairperson of the St. Oscar Romero Parish Safety Ministry and is also an American Heart Association Heartsaver Instructor. Scott’s goal is to blend the St. Oscar Romero Parish entities to provide faith-based worship, community services, safe environment for all, and lift and support for those in need.
Toni Wohleber was born and raised in Pleasant Hills. She is married with five children and seven grandchildren. Toni lived in Silver Spring, Maryland, for 18 years and moved back to the Pittsburgh area, settling in North Strabane and becoming a member of St. Oscar Romero Parish in September 2020. She is active on the SOR Pastoral Council and the Respect Life Committee. She is involved in sidewalk counseling at the Allegheny Reproductive “Health” Center in East Liberty, and Catholic street evangelization in Pittsburgh and the South Western, PA area. She was a member of the Pastoral Council in her previous parish in Silver Spring and served as a catechist in the RCIA program there. Toni enjoys sharing her faith with anyone who will listen, cooking, baking and being with family and friends.
